GABA Tucson
This is the site for Greater Arizona Bicycling Association Tucson Chapter. It contains information on the Tucson chapter, its officers, club meetings, and ride schedules. Major Taylor Phoenix Riders
An African-American world-class bicycle racing champion of the 1890s, Marshal "Major" Taylor overcame prejudice and hardship to pursue his love of riding his bicycle in competitions on many continents. This organization follows his vision and strives to get as many people into the world of bicycling as possible. Weekly rides start from Kiwanis Park in Tempe on Sunday morning.

McDowell Cycling
McDowell Cycling is a cycling group based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Most of their rides outline the beautiful McDowell Mountains. The site has ride schedule, routes, forums and photos.

Perimeter Bicycling Association of America - PBAA
This Tucson-based organization was established to organize perimeter events and to encourage cyclists to bicycle perimeters of towns, cities, states, countries, and any geographical boundary. P.B.A.A. produces and promotes El Tour de Tucson, Tour of the Tucson Mountains, Cochise County Cycling Classic, and El Tour de Phoenix. San Tan Racing

Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists - SDMB
The Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists is a mountain bike club riding out of Tucson, Arizona, that works to improve mountain biking opportunities in the area. They put on mountain bike rides and events for mountain bikers of all skill levels.

Southern Arizona Mountain Biking Association - SAMBA

Summit Velo

Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Bikeways Map
The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is a Council of Governments that serves as the regional agency for the metropolitan Phoenix area. MAG provides a regional forum for analysis, discussion and resolution of issues including areas of transportation, air quality, environment, regional development and social services. MAG produces an excellent bicycle route map titled "Bikeways in the Metropolitan Phoenix Area" which was updated in 2008. The map can be downloaded as an Adobe Acrobat PDF format file. Go to their site and scroll down to the "MAG Regional Bike Map 2008".

SRP Canal Map
Many people use the SRP canal banks for recreation, such as running and biking. The SRP canal map highlights each canal in a different color. You can view distances between points along a specific canal. The SRP canal map is also available for download.

Arizona Mountain Biking

The Fat Tire Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon Bike Ride
Get your knobbies ready for this 'hell' ride! We start in the Coconino National Forest north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Approximate length of the ride is 65 miles, give or take a few, on butt-pounding, Forest Service roads along an historic stage coach route. The ride typically takes riders 5-8 hours to complete. The route begins in beautiful stands of aspen and descends through the pines to flatter, high desert landscape before climbing back into the cool forest. After a gradual 10-mile climb, the ride ends just outside the boundary of the Grand Canyon National Park.

Mountain Bike Association of Arizona
The Mountain Bike Association of Arizona, the largest promoter of mountain biking in Arizona, sponsors the State Mountain Bike Championship Series. Their web site has event calendars, chat forums, photo galleries and their monthly newsletter. The MBAA is active in land access, trail maintenance, racing and recreational rides.

This website is dedicated to mountain biking in Arizona. Its main objective is to have an extensive trails section for others to find a trail to ride in Arizona. They offer day tours of any of the trails on the website.

Arizona Endurance Bike Series
The goal of the Arizona Endurance Bike Series is to promote responsible grassroots endurance racing in Arizona, and to provide a competitive outlet for the state's current endurance racers - most of whom currently go out of state to compete. The AEBS will help train current endurance riders and perhaps enhance success by Arizonans in national events.

Tour de Cure
Sponsored by the American Diabetes Association the Tour de Cure is an event to raise funds to fight the epidemic of diabetes with ride options for riders of all athletic abilities. Events are held in Phoenix and Tuscon in the Spring.
